Pros:There aren't any. Specs CLEARLY state that video-audio formatsare compatible with my ZOOM Q3HD video recorder. OTOH, Sony's VEGAS11 does not state compatibilty with my Q3HD, but Sony's software works!!! Sony has a few scant spec listings. Amazing. Got it for $30 OEM with my Lte-On burner combo price here at the Eggster.
Cons:Endless amount of wasted time with Pinnacles tech support. A nightmare. This software package is an overbloated pig consuming over 3 gigs of space, only to find out that it doesn't work. I mean if a piece video editing software cannot work using Qucktime Player, which is free btw., give up Pinnacle! My device can use Quicktime to view and play videos, all day and all night. Yours, has no sound? Amazing. Maybe by Version 59 they'll find a fix....zzzzz.
Overall Review:Called their Pre-Sale dept, before buying. Was told by lady at Pinnacle that the software would work. {Gave her my model number, etc., for confirmation}. Then Newegg put the software on sale a few days later. I said, timing was pic-perfect! Right. What hassle. For prospective buyers is:buyer beware--even if you do all the pre-buy research it may not work. A total waste of time and energy.
