This list of positive affirmations is probably the most meaningful way I’m connecting with God this year. I’ve realized that most of my battles are won or lost in my mind. I constantly remind myself that my life is moving in the direction of my strongest thoughts. If I don’t like the way my life is going, the first place I look is at my thoughts.

Like the Apostle Paul says, sometimes I do what I don’t want to do. Paul also said that we don’t just fight with the weapons of this world, we’ve been given divine power to destroy the strongholds that build up in our brains. In Philippians 4:8 NLT, Paul wrote:

  • Each scripturally-based affirmation will fortify the truth of God in your heart relative to any circumstance. Speak affirmations over your life that reflect what God says about you, what He says about your access to Him, and your access to His 'Talk to God with Affirmations of Faith,' is a valuable resource to begin or develop your communication and relationship with God.

  • God the Father We believe in God, the Father, an infinite, personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of each person, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
  • Spiritual affirmations are meant to take you nearer God. Read the ones given below or make your own on similar lines and repeat them along with prayers. They can also be referred to as Affirmations of Faith. Closeness to God is achieved in many ways. Praying is one of them.

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

Paul was trying to tell us how to rewire our brains so that we do what we know is right—what we want to do. He gave us clues about how to repave the neural pathways in our brains with the divine power of God’s Word. But we can’t just read the truth once. We need to read it, write it, think it, meditate on it, and repeat it daily. Modern brain science tells us that renewing our minds is a daily process. But long before the wonderfully helpful research on cognitive behavioral therapy and neuroplasticity, we had Romans 12:2 NLT:

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Okay, I promised a list of positive affirmations. The first list is the list of positive affirmations I repeat regularly. The second list is for anyone who’s in Christ. But neither of these lists are actually mine. They’re based on God’s truth for all of us. Sls complete baroque leather harnesssugars legacy stables. So take what you like—write it, think it, say it, meditate on it, and believe it daily.
